gener8tor Skills Accelerator and CO-WY Engine Launch
Digital Skilling Initiative

Wyoming – Global venture firm and accelerator, gener8tor, in collaboration with the NSF:CO-WY
Engine, powered by Innosphere, kicks off a Skills Accelerator cohort on April 7, 2025. The
program will focus on digital skills training and job placement resources for residents across
rural and tribal communities in Wyoming. The Skills Accelerator will provide skills training and
job placement support, offering two career track options – IT Customer Service and IT Helpdesk.
Both programs will prepare participants for CompTIA industry-recognized certifications.

gener8tor Skills Accelerator is a free, virtual rapid skilling program for people looking for jobs in
high-demand roles in their communities or who are looking to work remotely for companies
across the country. The program provides the tools and individualized coaching that participants
need to further their professional careers while also helping them overcome challenges they
may face when trying to gain employment in the current market. Participants receive a
gener8tor Skills certificate and job placement support into new roles or opportunities for
advancement.

Engine. “These virtual programs will provide rural and tribal communities in our great State with
skills training and career preparation to continue ensuring we have a dynamic workforce.”

Founded in the summer of 2020, gener8tor Skills Accelerator was designed to help those who
have lost jobs or are struggling to find employment. Since its inception, the program has grown
from nineteen participants in Northeast Wisconsin to more than 2,600 graduates across the
country.

The gener8tor Skills Accelerator is a virtual training program designed to help individuals build
in-demand skills, unlock new career opportunities, and create meaningful change in their lives.
The program utilizes the LinkedIn Learning platform to provide high-quality instruction in fields
ranging from customer service to project management. Since launching in 2020, gener8tor
Skills has trained 3,242 participants and graduated 2,646 individuals. gener8tor Skills has
facilitated new or better jobs for 1,487 graduates. gener8tor Skills has on average an 88%
graduation rate and a 65% placement rate for graduates who exited the program 6 or more
months ago.
