In this “Funded in Colorado” episode, Innosphere’s CEO Mike Freeman sits down with Doug Campbell, co-founder of Roccor, LLC, to talk about the company’s recent acquisition to Redwire, a venture-backed aerospace portfolio company. Roccor is a Longmont Colorado-based aerospace technology and satellite maker, and we’re excited to learn from Doug Campbell’s experiences in this interview.
Doug Campbell also has extensive fundraising experience in his role as CEO of Solid Power, a company that’s developing the next generation of ultra high energy, safe and low cost rechargeable batteries. Solid Power is a graduate company of Innosphere’s commercialization program.
Innosphere Ventures’ “Funded in Colorado” Series showcases success stories of companies that recently closed a funding round or just completed a successful acquisition. In these 15 minute interviews, founders share lessons learned on attracting and raising capital, provide advice to other entrepreneurs, and explain what worked (and what didn’t!) in hopes of helping more companies close financing rounds.
