Supporting more Boulder-based startup and scaleup companies to be priority for Joey Money

Boulder, Colorado Innosphere, Colorado’s incubator dedicated to accelerating the success of science and technology-based companies, welcomes Joey Money as their newest Client Manager. Joey will be joining Susan Strong in covering the greater Boulder area to support additional startup and scaleup companies and university technologies.

Joey joins Innosphere with extensive experience as a corporate development consultant working in startup as well as more established companies. “Joey’s experience in helping companies develop and execute actionable strategic growth plans makes her a perfect fit for this role,” said Mike Freeman, Innosphere CEO. “She’s helped companies with successful equity events, revenue generation, and strategic collaborations, and we’re excited to have her start supporting Innosphere Client Companies.”

Joey will be responsible for providing business support to Innosphere’s science and tech companies and strategically helping them raise capital. Many of the Boulder-based companies Joey will support are in the industries of bioscience or medical device. “Innosphere client companies working with Joey will be able to leverage her work experience and her PhD in chemistry to get exceptional business support,” said Freeman. Before she became a consultant, Joey held several corporate executive and business development roles in chemical and life science research tools companies and in biopharma companies. She most recently worked at Inscripta – formerly known as Muse Biotechnology.

“Thanks to Innosphere’s partners of the City of Boulder and Venture Partners at CU Boulder, we’ve been able to continue to grow and support the science and tech startup ecosystem in Boulder,” said Freeman.

In addition to Innosphere’s incubation program, Innosphere also has real estate with office and wet labs, and a seed stage venture capital fund.

Innosphere’s program focuses on ensuring companies are investor-ready, connecting founders with experienced advisors and early hires, making introductions to corporate partners, exit planning, and accelerating top line revenue growth. Innosphere supports entrepreneurs in many industries, including but not limited to: bioscience; medical device; energy; advanced materials; hardware; enterprise software; fintech; and artificial intelligence. Innosphere has been supporting startups for over 20 years, has locations in Fort Collins, Boulder, Denver, and Castle Rock, and is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a strong mission to create jobs and grow Colorado’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.
