Colorado-Wyoming Climate Resilience Engine Announces Program Milestone with New Startups Fort Collins, Colorado

The Colorado-Wyoming Climate Resilience Engine (CO-WY Engine), supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation and led by Innosphere, is pleased to announce significant progress in its recently launched startup support program. Since the program’s inception, the CO-WY Engine has recruited four promising startups focused on climate resilience technologies, each dedicated to addressing unique environmental challenges and advancing sustainability in the region and beyond.

The CO-WY Engine startup program offers a suite of customized services and resources to empower climate resilience startups. The startup program provides the opportunity for climate-focused entrepreneurs to join a startup community dedicated to pioneering solutions for extreme weather, water resource management, sustainable agriculture, wildfire mitigation, and more. This program aligns with the Engine’s goal to support startups that in part build a nationally recognized ecosystem for climate resiliency, fueling commercial growth and creating a diverse, innovation-driven economy across Colorado and Wyoming.

“Translating new technologies from the lab to the market is an essential role of an NSF Engine. We envision the startup program to be a foundational program of CO-WY and support 100’s of startups from the region over the coming decade,” said Mike Freeman CEO of CO-WY.
