Neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Guiot joins Innosphere as newest Executive in Residence
Colorado – Innosphere, Colorado’s leading incubator for science and technology startups, is excited to announce that Dr. Ben Guiot will join Innosphere’s Executive in Residence program as Chief Medical Officer (CMO).
As CMO, Dr. Guiot will help Innosphere staff review perspective new client companies applying to the incubation program in the industries of digital health and life sciences. Dr. Guiot will also be a resource to Innosphere client companies that have been admitted into the program to advise entrepreneurs on business issues such as customer adoption strategies in healthcare settings, or how a physician might use the company’s software or medical device in their practice.
“We’ve been looking to expand our digital health and life science related capabilities,” said Mike Freeman, Innosphere CEO. “We’re excited to have Dr. Guiot not only working with our client companies, but also helping Innosphere staff identify important trends in healthcare that we need to be aware of for the long-term success of our program.”

Dr. Guiot has been in private practice with South Denver Neurosurgery since 2008 as a board certified surgeon. He received his medical degree from the University of Ottawa School of Medicine and completed his Neurosurgical residency in 1996. After residency, he pursued two spine fellowships, one at the University of Florida and the other at McGill University. Following fellowship training, he spent the first part of his professional life in academic medicine.
