Innosphere Life Sciences Companies Secure Over $1.5M in Colorado Advanced Industry Grant Awards
Fort Collins, CO – In a major win for innovation and the life sciences ecosystem in Colorado, Innosphere announces that its current and alumni Life Sciences cohort companies have been awarded a combined $1,502,000 in the latest round of Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) Advanced Industry (AI) Grant funding.
The significant share of total awards secured by Innosphere-affiliated companies underscores the impact of the Life Sciences program in advancing high-potential startups through commercialization and growth.
Awarded Companies from Innosphere Life Sciences Cohorts:
- Sterio3 – $250,000
- dBMEDx Inc – $250,000
- PFRx (PI Hawa) – $102,000
- Prohibix – $250,000
- Entirely Well – $250,000
- Kioga (Myobacteria Therapeutics) – $250,000
- MOLA Biotechnologies (PI Goodrich) – $150,000
“This round of AI Grant awards is not only a testament to the quality of innovation coming out of Colorado, but a major validation of the Innosphere Life Sciences program’s impact,” said Kevin Noble, Innosphere Life Sciences Program Director. “These awards will help accelerate the path to commercialization for these promising companies, and we’re proud to be their launchpad.”
Grant awardees receiving $250,000 must now secure $500,000 in matching funds within a six-month timeframe, while Proof-of-Concept grantees are required to match 50% of their awards.
“This funding will be critical in helping our companies scale, attract follow-on investment, and ultimately bring transformative technologies to market,” said Noble.
The OEDIT Advanced Industry Grant program supports innovative startups across seven advanced industries, aiming to accelerate commercialization and economic development across Colorado.
