Kevin Cudney Rejoins Innosphere Ventures Board, Bringing Decades of Legal Expertise and Commitment to Colorado’s Technology Ecosystem

Innosphere Ventures is pleased to announce the return of Kevin Cudney to its Board of Directors. Kevin recently transitioned from the full-time practice of law as a senior corporate partner with Denver-based Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, LLP. With a distinguished legal career that spanned more than 45 years and a deep passion for launching and accelerating start-up companies, Kevin brings a wealth of experience that will significantly benefit Innosphere Ventures and its mission to support technology-based businesses.

Kevin began his legal career in the New York financial district, where he worked closely with some of the nation’s most prominent private equity firms. His early exposure to large, complex business transactions laid the foundation for a career dedicated to the growth of innovative enterprises. Drawn by the burgeoning startup ecosystem, Kevin relocated to Denver, where he has since become a vital contributor to the region’s technology landscape.

Since 1985, Kevin has been a steadfast supporter of the Colorado technology community, particularly in Boulder and Denver. His leadership and guidance have been instrumental on the Boards of Directors for several of Colorado’s most prominent technology business incubators and accelerators, including the Boulder Technology Incubator, the Colorado Technology Incubator (CTEK), the Longmont Entrepreneurial Network, and CleanLaunch, a cleantech and alternative energy incubator that eventually merged with Innosphere Ventures. Kevin previously served on Innosphere’s board for a decade, where he had a substantial impact on the organization’s approach to entrepreneurial training and capital formation.

Throughout his career, Kevin has focused on two primary areas: the negotiation, structuring, and execution of complex business transactions, and providing strategic counsel to entrepreneurs in innovative startup and scaleup businesses. His expertise spans a variety of industries, including life sciences, software-as-a-service (SaaS), telecommunications, energy, and more.

In addition to his extensive legal and business acumen, Kevin’s deep relationships with both national and Denver regional business communities are expected to play a critical role in enhancing Innosphere Ventures’ client connections and overall profile.  His insights into private capital strategies and legal advisory referrals will be invaluable assets to the organization and its partners.

As he re-engages with Innosphere Ventures, Kevin plans to dedicate significant time to board service, with a focus on deeper engagement and leadership. His commitment to supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs in Colorado’s technology sector remains unwavering.
