Baird and Innosphere Partner to Support Innovative Scaleup Companies

Innosphere, Colorado’s leading technology incubator that supports scientific and technology-based startup and scaleup companies, has announced that client companies within their Scaleup Program will have access to Baird’s financial services expertise. Baird is an international, employee-owned wealth management, capital markets, private equity and asset management firm.

Innosphere launched a specific program for scaleup companies in the Fall of 2017 to support companies seeking their second round of funding and to provide companies with mentorship on how to accelerate growth. At the beginning of 2019, Innosphere began running Scaleup Workshops specifically designed for these companies. “As one part of Innosphere’s Scaleup Program, we provide exclusive workshops that address the current needs and challenges of our Scaleup Companies,” said Bud Michael, Innosphere program director. “Entrepreneurs who have attended these events in the past know how these sessions help in creating clarity, aligning the team, and driving results.”

The overall Scaleup Program for Innosphere client companies focuses on top line revenue growth, finding and retaining the best talent, operational excellence, exit strategies and raising capital. “The Scaleup Workshops will deliver ‘graduate level’ curriculum for emerging, high-growth companies,” said Michael. “The Scaleup Program has been successful in extending Innosphere’s early-stage client support model to graduate companies of the incubator.”

Brian Robinson, financial advisor at Baird, will take a board seat on Innosphere’s Board of Directors. Robinson has over ten years of industry experience, and in 2017 and 2018, he was included in the Forbes list of Top Next-Generation Wealth Advisors.

“We’ve seen how valuable Innosphere’s program is to the success of its client companies,” said Robinson.  “Innosphere’s team has the expertise and network to help companies grow and access capital. “We are thrilled to work with Innosphere in its mission to support Colorado businesses through the Scaleup Program.”

Innosphere is now actively accepting applications from companies working in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
